Job Title: Azure Fabric Data Architect
Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)
Position Type: Contract
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
o Lead the cost and performance analysis of running workloads on Azure/Fabric
o Lead migration of Snowflake DB objects to Azure
o Work closely with Data Engineers to optimize ETL pipelines, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
o Architect data models and ensure the structure meets the analytics and reporting needs of the business.
o Work closely with business intelligence (BI) teams to align on data availability, reporting needs, and query optimization.
o Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data architecture requirements and design solutions.
Required Qualifications:
o 10+ years of experience in data architecture, including significant experience with data warehouse design, ETL processes, and cloud data platforms.
o Proven experience with data migration projects, especially from legacy DWH tools to cloud-native technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with PySpark and Azure.
