The Microsoft Cloud Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Azure environment, with a strong emphasis on Power Automate administration, governance, and security. This role ensures compliance with security policies, monitors system performance, troubleshoots issues, and provides support to business users. The ideal candidate will focus on governance, compliance, troubleshooting, and platform optimization to maintain a stable, secure, and efficient automation ecosystem. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: • Managing and maintaining Power Automate environments, enforcing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, security controls, and role-based access (RBAC), while ensuring secure integration with Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID) and Azure Policies for governance. • Implementing Power Platform and Azure security best practices, monitoring audit logs, enforcing compliance policies, and integrating with Microsoft security tools. • Administering Azure resources to support Power Automate and Power Platform, including Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, and Azure Key Vault, ensuring secure and compliant automation workflows. • Assisting in change management and adoption strategies for Power Automate to ensure a secure and effective automation environment. • Maintaining detailed platform documentation, security policies, troubleshooting guides, and generating reports on workflow performance, usage trends, and security compliance. • Tracking and analyzing workflow execution, performance trends, and potential bottlenecks to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability. • Educating IT teams and business users on Power Automate security, troubleshooting, and governance policies, and promoting efficient automation practices. • Providing technical support, resolving workflow failures, API rate limits, and authentication issues, and Azure-related connectivity concerns and escalating critical problems to Microsoft Support when necessary. YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE: • Proven experience as a Microsoft Cloud Administrator with a strong focus on Power Automate administration, governance, and security. • Deep understanding of Power Automate cloud flows, desktop flows (RPA), and integration with Microsoft 365 and Azure services. • Experience managing Power Platform security settings, DLP policies, role-based access controls (RBAC), and compliance frameworks. • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365 security controls, Power Platform Admin Center and PowerShell. • 5+ years of Windows Cloud administration/Support • 2+ years support Power Platform with an emphasis on Power Automate • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work experience IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE/ARE: • Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform including Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AD, and Azure Windows deployment experience • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and Defender for Cloud Apps for enhanced security and compliance. • Understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) governance and best practices for Power Automate Desktop.
