Redapt is looking for a self-motivated highly experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Modern Data Center Practice working on enterprise level Azure infrastructure projects designing and deploying cloud environments for hosting business application services. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of Security, Governance, Compliance, IAM work within Azure Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate should have good understanding of Azure policies and enabling a multitude of services in this space. Responsibilities: • Participate in Identity and Access Management enterprise governance process and drive IAM standards adoptions for Azure. • Experience with creating, modifying and managing user access in Azure and role based permissions. • Strong knowledge with Azure Services such as Azure Storage Account, Azure API Management, Azure LogicApps etc. • Consultant and influence customers technical road map to Microsoft best Practices. • Lead requirements gathering, analysis, and solution development for Microsoft Azure cloud-based solutions. This included leading and delegating to project engineers. • Architect, design, and implement plans for deploying complex application workloads on Microsoft Azure. • Architect highly available, backup, and disaster recovery solutions on Microsoft Azure. • Partner with project teams, functional architects, systems specialists, and other technical resources within Redapt and with customers. • Create reference architectures, technical collateral, and project close documentation. • Support the development and growth of Redapt team by following and improving upon the delivery processes. • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff. • Experience creating and presenting technical customer solution designs and best practice proposals. • Experience in building statements of work, estimates, staffing plans, and workplans for large complex cloud solutions including migrations is a plus. • Provide Cloud thought leadership through publications and speaking engagements as needed. Professional Qualifications: • Expert-level knowledge consulting with Microsoft Azure IaaS services (i.e. Compute, networking, databases, storage, backup and archive, DR, security, monitoring, etc.). • Understanding network topologies, load balancing, and segmentation. • Experience with Application Migration with Azure (ASR) and Azure Migrate. • Experience with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level. • Terraform focused Infrastructure as Code deployments. • AWS experience specifically networking 1 year is a plus. • VMware experience is a plus. • Firewall experience, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point and Juniper is a plus. • Experience working with Microsoft Partner Network and its contractual processes. • Be certified or demonstrate the ability to become certified as an Azure Cloud Solution Architect. • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Security & Identity services (i.e. Domain Services, Azure Security Center, Azure Governance,) • Experience leading Azure Cloud project delivery, i.e. responsible for: • Project deliverables. • Technical and architecture oversight including first line escalations. • Project delivery approach. • Delivery performance – working with delivery and Project Management teams. • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills. • Experience leading and working with diverse geographically distributed teams. Additionally, you will showcase the following: • You have 5+ years of overall industry experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • 3+ years of working with Azure Services • You have 5+ years of experience with Cloud solutions, platforms, and technologies. • Must have extensive working experience with Microsoft technologies. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work-related experience Compensation: The salary for this full-time position in the US is $140,000 - $190,000/yr + benefits. Redapt salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
