The individual may also be called to be onsite for critical meetings and data related discussions. Onsite work will be at the VRS central office at 1200 East Main Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219 ABOUT THE ROLEThe Virginia Retirement System (VRS) Data Office team is seeking up to two (2) senior level Power BI/SQL Developers with strong problem solving, organizational, and communication skills. This role will be expected to collaborate with the Data Office, Business, IT and other stakeholders and play an active role in the Data Quality Enhancement initiative. The individual is expected to be a self-starter who is comfortable prioritizing and effectively managing their daily workload. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with overall Power BI/SQL Support (development, performance, process, documentation) related to the Data Quality Enhancement initiative and other development efforts as needed. Activities include:· Maintain the confidentiality of all business data and adhere to VRS data security policies.· Meet all deliverables within the agreed upon timeframe.
