Power BI Developer job at 1872 Consulting. Chicago, IL. Power BI Developer 100% Remote Summary We are seeking a data-driven BI Developer with strong PowerBI experience to develop reports and dashboards that empower a wide variety of customers to make informed business decisions. You will collaborate closely with other teams to implement industry-leading data visualizations that provide our customers with a deep understanding of their data, what it means, and how they can use it. What you'll be doing • Take the lead to bring a dashboard through its lifecycle, from concept to wireframe to implementation through to end-user acceptance • Design, build, prototype, and deploy Power BI solutions • Translate business needs into technical specifications • Conduct and support whiteboarding sessions, workshops, design sessions, and project meetings as needed • Researches and develops new algorithms and statistical techniques based on customer needs • Work in partnership with business analysts, application architect, application developers to build data transactions and warehousing systems • Make effective and decisive decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Skills we're seeking • 2+ years of experience with BI Development • Must have strong Power BI experience • Must have solid SQL experience (writing SQL queries, working with SQL databases to gather data to develop dashboards/reports with) Nice to have experience • Experience working with cloud data warehouses, ideally Snowflake • Experience with AWS and/or Azure • Python experience • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an IT or Analytics related field • Real estate experience 1872 Consulting
