This role partners with business stakeholders to understand and solve business problems. Primarily they are responsible for building insights and analytics while providing subject matter expertise, technical knowledge, and analytic product ownership. They will create user workflows analytics and insights and bring them to life. This team supports the Global Operations & Supply Chain (GO&SC) organization. The mission of this role is to contribute to the building of GO&SC INSIGHTS to drive best-in-class practices and tools for the Global Supply Management organization. This person will also need to work hand in hand with the Analytics Development Team and the Data Engineering Team to manage the creation and deployment of solutions that simplify our customers processes and generate insights that align with our customers goals. This role requires you to be the user of your tools and generate insights to share with the business. This role needs to provide excellent customer service in a way that helps our stakeholders perform at their very best. The ideal candidate will move with decisiveness and courage, drive experimentation and calculated risk taking to create solutions that are simple and innovative that are the best possible for our stakeholders. Furthermore, the role needs to seek out best practices, educate our stakeholders, and be an agent of change within the organization to educate and drive data-based decisions and workflows for our stakeholders. Location : Open to fully remote for the right candidate, but we prefer location near any US based Medtronic facility. A Day in the Life Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned : • Facilitate the ideation and creation of analytical solutions for the Global Supply Management organization, including Sourcing and Purchasing functions. • Capture requirements and suggest improvements for analytical processes. • Collaborate extensively across cross-functional teams and the organization. • Ensure the development of Analytics & Insights aligns with the End-to-End (E2E) business processes and business objectives. • Act as a key resource to support and drive analytics initiatives. • Ensure a high level of customer value and satisfaction through extreme ownership. • Promote the adoption and usage of analytics tools and insights. • Support training of analytic tools. • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of solutions. • Serve as a steward of your analytics by generating insights for business use cases. Must Have : Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree Required • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain and Operations Analytics or Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Nice to Have Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following skills, experiences, and certifications : • Experience supporting Supply Management related functions • Experience with Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform • Ability to influence decisions and drive projects to completion • SQL or Snowflake Developer • Developer experience with Power BI or Power Apps • Power Automate experience. • Experience working in an Agile environment. • Experience in a regulated environment like Medical Device, etc. • Ability to travel up to 25% or once a quarter Last updated : 2024-11-17
