ResilientTech Advisors is seeking a senior IT consultant to support a pending engagement with the Norfolk Airport Authority. This consultant will help assess, guide, and modernize the airport’s IT infrastructure and strategic planning capabilities. This is a contingent hire - we are submitting a proposal and are seeking a candidate who can be included in our bid package. If awarded, the work will begin mid-2025. Responsibilities • Assess current IT infrastructure, network systems, and vendor dependencies • Conduct gap analyses and feasibility assessments • Align IT strategy with business goals and compliance requirements • Support development of an IT Master Plan, implementation roadmap, and training materials • Recommend modern solutions for VOIP, remote access, firewalls, FIDS, and PCI compliance • Provide strategic consulting and project oversight support Qualifications • 5+ years of IT consulting, infrastructure assessment, or network architecture experience • Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, TCP/IP, VPN, SMTP, firewalls, remote access • Experience with VOIP systems, FIDS/PA, access control systems, and PCI compliance requirements • Prior work with airports, municipalities, or critical infrastructure is a strong plus Compensation • W2: $85–$110/hr - includes access to our 401(k) plan (no match currently) • C2C: $95–$125/hr depending on qualifications Final rate is based on experience, alignment with project scope, and classification.
