An Identity and Access Management (IAM) administrator focuses on managing and controlling access to organizational resources. They oversee user identities, permissions, and roles within IT systems to ensure security and compliance with policies. IAM administrators configure and maintain authentication mechanisms, such as single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA), and monitor access activities to detect and respond to unauthorized actions.
