Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Power Platform/D365 Developer skilled in Microsoft’s Power Platform, including Dynamics 365, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Dataverse. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to facilitate both technical and business requirement discussions, and the ability to follow best practices and methodologies in delivering solutions. Responsibilities: • Utilize expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including Dynamics 365 Field Service and Customer Service modules. • Customize, configure, develop, and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. • Create and configure Power Apps and Power Automate workflows (both Canvas and Model-driven Apps). • Develop and configure Power Pages for external and internal websites. • Configure business process automation and lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions. • Understand business challenges, map functional solutions, and develop applications using Power Platform. • Ensure adherence to standards and best practices, including participation in code reviews. • Troubleshoot D365/Power Platform issues, document solutions, and collaborate with system administrators and IT resources to implement fixes. • Create and document design solutions for common use case scenarios. • Develop and disseminate documentation, including requirements, recommendations, and technical analysis. • Prepare mockups and prototypes based on requirements and recommend features/tools to meet business needs. • Define and refine governance approaches for platform usage. • Adhere to best practices for implementing business solutions. • Participate in Agile SDLC processes. Must Haves: • Strong experience in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including Field Service and Customer Service modules (2+ years). • At least 7 years of IT experience as an Application Developer. • Demonstrated expertise in designing, implementing, and migrating solutions using Power Platform (3+ years). • Experience in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services (5+ years). • Proficiency in using standard and premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate (3+ years). • PowerShell scripting experience (4+ years). • Hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps and functions, supporting Power Automate workflows (3+ years). Nice to Haves: • Experience with DevOps in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator) (2+ years). • Certifications in PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer. Location: Hybrid role based in Richmond, VA.
