Description As a member of the Technology & Innovations organization, the Full Stack Senior Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining legacy and “Cloud First” applications primarily written in C# and focused on the .Net Core and Azure cloud platform. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, full-stack coding capability, and effective communication across engineering and business teams. The Full Stack Senior Engineer develops both front-end and back-end solutions, providing technical guidance to team members. The main challenge is to identify causes and implement solutions to complex business problems in a multifunctional project, while assessing and communicating issues of technology impact on the business. Skills • Proficiency in C#, .NET, Java, Python • Experience with cloud solutions (Azure or AWS preferred) • Strong knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (NodeJS, Angular, React, VueJS) • Familiarity with CI/CD technologies (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) • Proficient in SQL and NoSQL database management • Understanding of big data and event streaming technologies (Apache Kafka, Spark) • Experience in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) • Knowledge of quality assurance tools and methodologies • Proficient in YAML, XML, and RESTful APIs • Familiarity with Generative AI and Machine Learning Responsibilities • Lead the design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems • Write high-quality code with a focus on automated testing and validation • Perform engineering activities for performance tuning and production support • Research and implement vendor dependencies to simplify architecture • Collaborate with business partners and architects to identify complex needs • Design and develop APIs for omni-channel clients • Analyze business requirements and translate them into appropriate designs • Conduct code reviews and peer reviews • Create and maintain programming documentation and standards Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent • Minimum of 10+ years of software development experience • Minimum of 6+ years of experience with Java, .NET, and Python • Minimum of 6+ years of experience with databases and data modeling/design (SQL and NoSQL) • Minimum of 5+ years coordinating team efforts in a project or operations environment Education Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Education Requirements Credential Category • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Experience Requirements • Minimum of 3 years in full-stack development for cloud solutions (Azure or AWS preferred) • 8+ years of experience in software development projects through complete release cycles • 4+ years of experience in big data and event streaming technologies • 4+ years of experience leading software engineering teams • 4+ years of experience with container and orchestration technologies Why work in Jersey City, NJ Jersey City offers a vibrant urban environment with a rich cultural scene, great dining options, and stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
