Position: Azure Infrastructure Consultant Location: Santa Clara, CA 95054 (Onsite) Duration: Direct-Hire / FTE Job Description: •We are hiring Azure Infrastructure Consultant for Data Platform modernization with at least 10 + years of experience in Azure Infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines •Proficiency in Azure Terraform Infrastructure as code (IaC) templates, Azure Identity, Compute, Storage, and Network services, DR, Compliance & Regulation •Involved in design, solutioning, Reviews and validations; Experience in Account and Subscription Management best practices •Hands-on Experience in deploying Azure Networking solutions like VNet, SubNet, NSG, Firewall, Hub and Spoke etc •Deploying Monitoring solutions using Azure Native features and service like Azure Monitoring, Azure Log Analytics Workspace, KUSTO query, Grafana etc •Should be proficient in capacity planning and VM sizing for performance and cost optimization; Proficient in deploying Azure Security solutions using Terraform templates •Analyze existing deployed solutions, including Azure compute, storage, and network services; Hands-on Experience in creating Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines •Utilize available consumption and cost metrics to identify usage patterns; Strong understanding of cost management principles within the Azure environment •Based on recommendation to either use lower SKU or a PaaS services, design solution, identify risks and estimate the effort to implement each of the recommendations •Proven track record of delivering cost-effective infrastructure solutions; Prepare a summary of recommendations with risk vs effort and suggest recommendation • Secondary Skills - Familiarity with equivalent services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for Azure services; experience in deploying Azure Databricks service and cost management techniques •Ability to work effectively in a client team and help Technical Architect by providing required input; Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities; Excellent communication skills.
