PLEASE NO THIRD-PARTY CALLS OR CONTACTS This is a remote contract, candidates must be based in the United States, and be able to work regular EST Timezone hours. W2 or Independent Contract, No third-party C2C. 6+ month contract, possible extensions. This is a senior level role asking for a technical resource with 10+ years of experience. The consultant will be responsible for standing up their Azure DevOps Infrastructure as well as building data pipelines in an Azure Databricks Environment. This role definitely leans more toward DevOps with some level of data engineering. Requirements: Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, must have recent Azure focused experience. Ability to get ground breaking team officially set up, up and running in Azure DevOps Proven track record in Agile software product development. 8+ years in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby and deployments on Azure Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS. -1-2 years of data engineering with Pyspark • Hands on experience building data pipelines in an Azure environment. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform would be a plus Previous experience as a member of an Inaugural Dev Team or start-ups is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred
