Job Description The role of a successful Systems Administrator I with Lenel S2 experience is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems. Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and maintain various security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems. • Perform system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and adhere to industry standards. • Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure the successful implementation and integration of security solutions. • Promptly identify and resolve technical issues to maintain system functionality. • Conduct diagnostic tests and use troubleshooting tools to analyze system performance and determine solutions. • Provide both remote and on-site support to address client concerns efficiently. • Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and respond to inquiries. • Offer training and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance. • Foster positive client relationships through effective communication and problem resolution. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities, including service reports, equipment inventory, and configuration changes. • Collaborate with the technical support team to contribute to knowledge bases and share best practices. • Ensure that all installations and services meet company and industry standards. • Conduct regular quality checks and participate in quality improvement initiatives. • Other duties assigned within reason of current role previously specified. • 100% onsite. Qualifications • High School Diploma. • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related role; security systems. • Lenel S2 experience required. • Exceptional customer service skills, both over the phone and in person, with the ability to work under pressure. • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PDF. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and attention to detail. • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and directions in a dynamic work environment. • Demonstrates initiative and engages in proactive behavior. • Ability to foster a positive working environment for both customers and team members. • Basic understanding of networks and network troubleshooting skills. • Knowledge in the use of diagnostic and troubleshooting tools. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a detail-oriented approach.
