Advises strategic direction while providing leadership for the design, engineering, and implementation for consolidating and standardizing infrastructure and applications throughout Sutter Health and its affiliates. Interprets architecture requirements, design, product evaluations, selection, and integration of new technology to support Sutter Health needs. Develops enterprise infrastructure, data management, and application technology strategies, standards, and solution architecture. Performs requirements analysis, design, product evaluations, selection, and integration of new technology supporting the needs of Sutter Health. Recognized as an expert at Sutter Health within their job family. Lastly, leads information services (IS) systems projects through collaboration, coordination, and implementation across multiple teams. Education Job Description: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. • Bachelor's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Typical Experience • 12 years of recent experience • Experience in Azure architecture, engineering, implementation, and support • Implementation and troubleshooting of the following key areas of the Azure Platform: Azure Networking (virtual networks, routing behaviors, private link service, private endpoints, DNS), Azure Kubernetes, Azure Databricks • Experience with the following: GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, PowerShell/Bash, Bicep, ARM Templates Skills And Knowledge • Advanced knowledge in formulating state-of-the-art enterprise strategic architecture framework plans. • Advanced knowledge in the engineering, implementation, operation, maintenance, and support of a wide range of server and storage platforms. • Expert knowledge of visualization technologies. • Set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner. • Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures in order to identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships resulting in the formulation of logical and objective conclusions. • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with audiences across all areas and levels within Sutter Health as well as external organizations. • Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups such as: executives, managers, and subject matter experts. • Skilled in developing documentation at a technical and user level. • Requires in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job family and broad knowledge of other job families within the service line • Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends process or service improvements • Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for the project execution • Solves unique problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions • Impacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project, or services; works within general service line policies and industry guidelines • Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view Job Shift Days Schedule Full Time Shift Hours 8 Days Of The Week Monday - Friday Weekend Requirements As Needed Benefits Yes Unions No Position Status Exempt Weekly Hours 40 Employee Status Regular Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans. Pay Range is $75.45 to $120.72 / hour. For candidates residing in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, the Pay Range is $67.91 to $108.65 / hour. For candidates residing in Arkansas, Idaho, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah the Pay Range is $60.39 to $96.58 / hour. The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
