Infosys is seeking an AWS DevOps Developer - This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued. Required Qualifications: • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or Simi Valley, CA or be willing to relocate to the area prior to onboarding. This position may require travel in the US. • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 2 years of experience in Information Technology. • At least 2 years of strong hands on in in building, deploying and troubleshooting infrastructure setup on Cloud (AWS preferred). • Primarily responsible for the maintenance and administration of infrastructure through CloudFormation and CDK. • Strong knowledge in CICD principles, Storage, IAC, AWS services, HA concepts. Plan and execute major deployment practices and environmental upgrades. • Strong expertise of AWS CORE SERVICES such as Route53, VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, EBS, Security Group, Auto Scaling, and RDS, Parameter store, Secrets Manager and CloudWatch. • All applicants authorized to work in the United States are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications: • Strong understanding of AWS services to create fault tolerance, Scalable, HA, Secure and cost Optimized architecture. • Well versed in OS level knowledge in Windows & Linux including file scripting & networking. • Develop, enhance, deploy and troubleshoot Infrastructure as a code framework via CloudFormation and CDK. • Expertise on Azure Devops is a must. • Knowledge on Containerization and orchestration will be an added advantage. • Knowledge on Change managements procedures is expected. • Knowledge of scrum and agile is an added advantage. • Knowledge of monitoring and Logging tools. • Efficiently worked on securing sensitive data on parameter store and secrets manager and leverage its features such as encryption and key rotation. • Troubleshoot OS performance issue using built-in OS tools. • Knowledge of Splunk, Tanium, CrowdStrike and rapid7 agent is an added advantage. • Maintain and update core infrastructure services including: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, EBS, Security Group, Auto Scaling, and RDS, Parameter store, Secrets Manager and CloudWatch • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Monitor system backups and perform disaster recovery operations. • As a valuable team player, effectively take part in sprint calls, contribute to planning and execution. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
