Looking for JIRA Administrator/Analyst Plano, Texas, United States Description We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst with a background in Cybersecurity & experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and responding to security issues related to our products & coordinating implementation of security measures. Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) is essential for effective project management and documentation. Familiarity with Python development is preferred, as it will aid in automating security processes and developing tools to enhance our monitoring/triaging/remediation capabilities. Responsibilities: • Monitor and analyze security events and alerts related to product cybersecurity issues. • Develop and maintain security tools and scripts to automate incident response tasks (Python experience preferred). • Utilize Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) & Microsoft suite to manage product cybersecurity projects, document processes, and facilitate communication across teams. • Respond to product cybersecurity issues by conducting thorough investigations and coordinating remediations with stakeholders. • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to enhance the organization's product security measures. • Prepare and present security reports and metrics to management and stakeholders. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in a related field. • Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a similar role. • Strong programming skills in Python. • Knowledge of cybersecurity core concepts encryption/decryption, secure boot, secure communications, secure storage, etc. • In-depth knowledge of product security principles, including secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), threat modeling, and vulnerability management. • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities in software products (e.g., SQL injection, cross-site scripting) and how to mitigate them. • Proficiency in using the Atlassian suite, particularly Jira for project management and Confluence for documentation. SOFT SKILLS • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to technical peers and management. • Strong technical competence in MS tool suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions. • Demonstration of the following behavioral competencies: Delivering results as an individual and as a team, Respect for peers and customers, & Customer service and relationship management • Ability to understand both the individual and group roles, recognize when problems impact other roles, and collaborate with group leadership as well as other impacted roles to solve complex problems • Ability to identify when tasks are at risk of getting completed on time and coordinate with management to address appropriately • Initiative to identify and improve aspects of the business policies, processes, procedures, technologies, reports, and templates as needed • Self-education to continuously learn and invest in skills and knowledge relevant to the team and the position • Going above and beyond by understanding the business, anticipating needs, and delivering results that meet all quality expectations • Pro-active management and creation of tasks, definitions of done, and deliverable dates for tasks requested of you and projects you manage Added Bonus: • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, internet of things (IOT), and/or software industries. • OSCP, SANS/GIAC, CISSP, or other related/equivalent certifications. • Experience with compliance regulations/laws, security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, NIST, HIPAA, ISO, COBIT, OWASP, ITIL, etc.).? • Fluent in Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions.
