Please Note: This is a full-time, onsite position. Remote work is not available. Candidates must be local and able to commute to the office in Nashville, TN for all scheduled shifts. OBJECTIVE: The Business Intelligence Developer is a passionate, energetic, and skilled developer who will help drive transformation as Lipman Brothers, LLC transitions to a more data-driven organization. The Business Intelligence Developer is skilled in the Microsoft Power Platform and the broader Microsoft technology stack, and is enthusiastic about building impactful, scalable data solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work collaboratively with business staff to understand needs for information delivery and analytical capability • Analyze and evaluate current BI data, processes, and infrastructure to proactively identify data redundancy and make recommendations for data consolidation, standardization and process improvement, in support of current and future enterprise Data Governance and Master Data Management principles • Manage, monitor, and improve BI platform error handling and performance monitoring capabilities to optimize and/or proactively address potential systems or process issues • Creation and ownership of Business Intelligence-related queries and calculations in support of enterprise-wide reporting and analytics • Documentation of established data models, processes and infrastructure related to reporting and analytics platforms • Serve as Business Intelligence technology/data advocate and serve as a liaison with other departments to ensure proper considerations are given to data governance and data management as new data and reporting needs are introduced across the enterprise • Adherence to internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any regulatory or governance standards and policies • Create and maintain complex data extraction processes requiring complex transformations and deep subject matter knowledge • Acting as the internal company expert on analytical software tools, industry trends, and effective practices and procedures for translating business needs into actionable capabilities • Troubleshoot, coordinate, assist, and advise in recovery from application failures NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all related duties as assigned QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related concentration required • 3+ years exp. in Information Technology or Development role • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SSRS, SSIS, SSMS and Visual Studio. • Relevant certification in market-leading Business Intelligence software packages not required but considered a plus • Mastery of SQL across one or more relational database platforms • Self-starter who enjoys working with data-centric technologies, staying current with the latest industry trends, and drives forward innovative solutions • Ability to analyze and communicate data risks/challenges and drive resolution • Ability to identify the business implications of data system designs and the data requirements of user needs • Expertise with Microsoft SQL development and data analysis • Highly analytical and detail oriented; strict attention to detail required • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment • Excellent interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff at all levels Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
