We Protect the Possible The Enterprise Solutions Architect plays a crucial role in developing a strategy, designing and implementing a blueprint for our Insurance Advisory Services (IAS) business unit. This involves collaborating closely with both business and IT stakeholders to establish an architecture that fulfils the specific needs of our IAS business. This role's significance expands as it identifies the apt fit within the business infrastructure. This position is hybrid in-style, based out of our Tampa, Florida office. Primary Responsibilities: • Ability to shape strategies that align with the business's goals and facilitates stakeholder buy-in. They should be proficient in developing clear and actionable roadmaps, envisioning future-state architecture, and steering architecture-centric transformation projects. • Demonstrates a solution-oriented mindset that prioritizes understanding the nuances of business processes and problems, then designing tailored architectural solutions that meet the specific needs of the business. • Work effectively with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and facilitating effective communication and understanding. • Develop technical standards, guidelines, and reference architectures based on industry trends. • Collaborate with IT business partners and leaders to create technical solutions for business needs. • Prototype solution development to ensure component compatibility and pattern adoption. • Lead in the establishment and regular maintenance of comprehensive system and application architectures that support the agility and scalability of business operations. • Define engineering standards, capture implementation patterns, and ensure high-quality documentation. • Oversee cloud architecture design, testing, and prototyping of cloud-native applications, ensuring rapid deployment and system reliability • Deep understanding of AWS and Azure, with experience in deploying scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems. • Proficiency in Generative AI frameworks, staying updated on technology trends, risks, and opportunities in the Cloud and AI domain. • Implement effective CI/CD pipelines, version control, and configuration management. • Develop operational models, encompassing Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery, and continuous information security optimization. • Facilitate astute product selection as part of Architecture Standards definition to ensure best-fit technology adoption. • Lead the development of data processing patterns; improve data management and harmonization capabilities. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Utilize problem-solving skills to dissect complex business problems and devise effective solutions. • Demonstrate ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. • Leverage industry knowledge to predict potential challenges and instigate proactive solutions. • Showcase analytical thinking in problem-solving, able to identify root causes and strategic solutions. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. • Strong relationship building skills to maintain positive interactions with key stakeholders. • Exceptional analytical skills to provide data-driven insights. • Utilize negotiation skills to resolve business conflicts and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. • Proficiency in persuading others towards achieving a common goal through effective communication. • Display adaptability in solving problems in a rapidly changing business environment. Education & Experience: • A Bachelor's degree is required. • Preferably, the candidate should have 15+ years of relevant experience.
