Job description
Job title: Azure / SQL DBA with Experience of having worked on portfolio / fund accounting system like Investran. Location: New York city, NY hybrid Duration: Contract Skills/ Experience (Technical) • Overall 8-10 Years of IT experience. • Hands on experience with managing existing SQL Server and Azure SQL • Should be able to provision a new Azure SQL database. • Be responsible for backup and restoring of Azure SQL databases. • Knowledge of disaster recovery for data and applications availability • Be able to work on modernizing applications using Azure SQL Managed Instance. • Have skills on database management and be able to Configure and maintain, SQL Server systems in Azure environments • Must have used performance monitoring with tools like Azure Monitor to identify bottlenecks • Hands on experience of having worked on database migrations. • Should have the ability to troubleshoot and correct issues in real time. • Experience of having worked on portfolio / fund accounting system like Investran. • Nice to have - To be able to automate common data management tasks using scripting language.
