We’re looking for a Security Solutions Administrator to join our growing team in West Henrietta, New York ! This is a hybrid position. The Position As a Security Solutions Administrator, you will be responsible for securing, managing, and optimizing our Microsoft cloud environment while ensuring compliance with security frameworks and protecting against cyber threats. As a member of the Cybersecurity team, you will collaborate with IT teammates across multiple international sites to ensure the seamless application of security solutions, standards and practices throughout the environment, maintaining compliance with ISO 27001 and other security frameworks. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and stays up-to-date with the latest advancements. You’ll be expected to implement solutions that enhance efficiency in our cybersecurity workflows, and experience with Generative AI is a huge plus! The Day To Day • As a member of the Cybersecurity team, implement and maintain security best practices for Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. • Support and maintain cloud services, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS, ensuring seamless, secure integration with on-premises systems. • Administer Azure AD, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. • Enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Conditional Access policies, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). • With coordination between the Cybersecurity and IT teams, implement effective vulnerability management and system hardening. • Collaborate with the Cybersecurity and IT teams to respond to security events effectively. • Facilitate compliance with company security policies, practices and legal requirements. • Contribute to the design, testing, implementation, and support of information security controls that align with corporate and regulatory compliance. • Continuously look for opportunities to optimize cybersecurity operations, improve efficiency, and streamline workflows using cutting-edge technologies. • Collaborate with the rest of the Cybersecurity team to explore the use of Generative AI and other emerging technologies to enhance system performance and automation. What You Bring To Safran • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • 5-7 years of experience in IT systems administration, with strong expertise in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Azure AD, and IAM policies. • Experience with Intune, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Endpoint, SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel), and security automation. • Experience with Linux management and administration are a plus. • Hands on experience with configuring and administering ancillary security tools, including MFA solutions, passwords managers, etc, is desired. • Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001. • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and security tasks. • Experience with implementing Windows and Linux security controls to maintain system compliance • Passion for technology, staying up-to-date with cutting-edge trends and continuously learning. • Demonstrated ability to implement solutions that enhance efficiency in IT and cybersecurity workflows. • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across international teams • Experience with Generative AI or a strong interest in integrating AI technologies into cybersecurity operations is a huge plus. • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, as well as a customer-first approach to resolving technical issues. • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are a plus.
