DTS is looking for experienced Cloud Data Engineer for a Direct Client position based in Dearborn, MI Top Technical Skills Azure Databricks - will be asked to get the cert once they start Most people started in big data and moved to the cloud Ideal – big data with exposure to cloud preferable Azure Spark – if have this they will learn data bricks - Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, or Scala Spark data engineer type role Really looking for big data – Hadoop, hive, spark along with java, python or scala and then some cloud (preferably azure) Job Summary: As a cloud engineer for Azure, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory. • Responsibilities:* Design and implementation of complex cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, focusing on integration with Databricks and Azure Data Factory. Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures. Ensure optimal architecture and performance of applications deployed on Azure. Provide expertise in cloud security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Manage the full lifecycle of data and analytics solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. • Nice to Have:* Experience with designing scalable data analytics architecture to implement advanced analytics solutions, including machine learning and AI, to extract actionable insights from data. Additional Azure Certifications like Azure ML, Analytics Specialty, or Azure Solutions Architect Other Responsibilities: Conduct system troubleshooting and provide technical support as needed.
