At Cybervance, we are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Expert to deliver high-quality training on Azure incident response. As a contract instructor, you will teach security professionals the art of cloud incident response using Microsoft Azure tools and frameworks. With your expertise in cloud security, you will guide participants in navigating Azure logging sources, configuring and utilizing tools like PowerShell modules and Microsoft Defender Suite, and conducting threat hunting using Kusto Query Language (KQL). Your extensive knowledge of Azure architecture, identity access management, and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) will be invaluable in creating an engaging and interactive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in cloud incident response, with a focus on Microsoft Azure security tools and frameworks. Prior experience teaching technical content to security professionals is also essential. Relevant certifications such as Azure Security Engineer or CISSP are preferred but not mandatory. You will be required to design and deliver incident response playbooks and cloud automation workflows, making your ability to communicate complex concepts clearly crucial. We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 per year, considering the location in Kensington, MD, and the project-based duration.
