Position Summary The Network Administrator will be responsible for the daily management, maintenance, and optimization of our network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring our systems remain secure, high-performing, and resilient. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in troubleshooting complex issues, and driven by operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points Monitor network performance, conduct diagnostics, and proactively resolve issues Maintain network security through firewall configurations, access controls, and threat prevention measures Perform regular system backups and support disaster recovery planning and implementation Manage infrastructure updates, network permissions, domains, and changes Collaborate cross-functionally with IT teams to support project initiatives and organizational goals Document network configurations, procedures, incidents, and upgrades Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry best practices Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role Strong expertise in LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols Proficient in diagnosing and resolving network performance issues Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation Must be located within the United States Must have no criminal history or negative credit issues (background check required) Compensation & Benefits Annual Salary: $87,000 – $92,000 (commensurate with experience) 401(k) retirement plan with company match Comprehensive Health Insurance: medical, dental, and vision Life Insurance Coverage Paid Time Off (PTO) and company holidays Opportunities for professional development and continued education
