This range is aligned with McKesson’s compensation philosophy and takes into account performance, experience, skills, and geographical markets. Skills • 10+ years of Cloud Architecture and/or relevant industry experience • Solid design and implementation experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments • Knowledge of cloud design patterns and best practices for production workloads • Experience with microservices-based architectures or cloud-native architectures • Proficiency in Azure landing zone architectures, cloud networking, security best practices, IAM, and observability • Familiarity with Azure Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization technology • Experience in cloud automation and deployment of enterprise-scale infrastructures as code (IaC) using Ansible, Terraform, and Python Responsibilities • Design cloud solutions that meet the organization’s business and technical requirements • Develop high-level architecture and system design for cloud-based applications and services • Provide guidance on cloud architecture, security, performance, scalability, and reliability • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals • Conduct assessments and optimization reviews for cloud deployments • Document cloud architectures and design decisions clearly • Stay updated on trends in the cloud domain to recommend improvements and innovations Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience • 10+ years of professional/technical experience in cloud architecture Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field Education Requirements Credential Category • Bachelor’s Degree Experience Requirements • Minimum of 10 years in Cloud Architecture or relevant industry experience • Extensive experience in cloud service solutions, security, governance, and disaster recovery Why work in Washington, DC Washington, DC is a vibrant city known for its rich history, cultural landmarks, and a diverse workforce.
