Job Title: Software Analyst - Power BI / Power BI Analyst Client: Rate: Duration: 6-12+ Months Location: Plano, TX (Remote) Note: It is a Remote position in Plano, TX; But looking for locals in Texas Note: PP Number and Linked - In is mandatory for submission (Except USC) Job Description: Description: Primary Skills: Extensive Experience in Power BI skills and using data visualization like tableau, power bi for blending data from multiple sources, linking data on one dashboard, filtering datain multiple views at once. Ability to work with Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and dynamic visulalization, driving informed decision- making and enhancing business insights. Responsibilities: Data Collection and Management: Gather data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other data collection systems. Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular data validation and cleansing activities. Maintain and update databases and data systems as necessary. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Use statistical methods and software tools to perform data analysis. Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques. Reporting and Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into key performance indicators. Create visualizations and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders. Prepare reports summarizing findings and recommendations for business strategies and decisions. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and IT, to understand their data needs. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data analysis. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) is a plus. Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role. Experience with data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI. Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle). Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization techniques. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
