Job Description: Position: Windows System Engineer Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ months contract position Client: Direct-client Requirements: • Extensive experience in all aspects of Windows Server(2016 and later), including configuration, patch management, and advanced troubleshooting. • Proficient in managing On-Premises Exchange 2016 environments, including mailbox administration and configuration. • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing Microsoft Intune for effective mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM). • Strong administrative experience with Office 365 services, particularly Exchange Online, ensuring seamless integration and user experience. • Familiarity with Azure Arc capabilities, including extending Azure services to hybrid environments and managing updates and patches for connected machines. • Experience with Active Directory in a multi-forest environment, including Group Policy management, as well as integration with Exchange and Azure Cloud services. • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks and process improvements. • Strong understanding of Azure Cloud services, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Application Proxy, Single Sign-On (SSO), Azure Backup and Restore, and Azure Site Recovery. • Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as PRTG and SCCM is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose patch-related issues efficiently and ensure minimal disruptions during deployment processes.
