Description Alliance Safety Council IT Network System Specialist Summary: The Network System Specialist for the Alliance Safety Council is to maintain the networks, test and deploy systems, diagnose and correct hardware or software problems. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position requires no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Support Functions: • Monitors desktop support for end-users including software support and training as well as hardware break-fix issues. • Work with technology stack hardware to include servers (HP/Dell), storage (Pure), and Fortinet networking. • Manage Active directory/Azure Active directory, windows files terminal servers, group policy and exchange services. • Issues, and deploys M/O365 accounts, licensing, M365 suite and support for all users. • Monitor Software Support for business solutions (Adobe, Snagit, Sage etc). • Work with Server OS 2016/2019/2022. • Management of Security Cameras & perimeter security. • Maintenance and deployment of Website servers from OS down. • Monitors backups, maintenance and data protection for business-critical resources. • Work with Route 53 for DNS entries and manipulate DHCP within Fortinet stack. • Works with VMware to manipulate VMs. • Programming skills using PowerShell. • Deployment and monitoring of VM services within cloud infrastructure (OS down). • Asset management for all company resources to include classroom A/V technology. • Management and monitoring of software and Voip phone services. Qualifications Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have practical job experience in working with networking, OS, and support desk functions. Requires knowledge and understanding of the English grammar. A two (2) year degree in a field related to software, hardware, or information systems or high school education/GED plus at least 2 years’ experience in network administration.
