Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time AI/ML Engineer. In this role, you will work on a cross-functional team alongside research engineers, data scientists, software developers, physicists, and mathematicians using cutting edge AI/ML resources and techniques to solve some of the hardest problems in Space – all in support of our national security. The successful candidate will have advanced experience with and/or knowledge of: AI/ML, Deep Learning, or Computer Vision, modern software development practices/languages, and a passion for math and science. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.) • Advanced experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, or Image Processing • Experience with modern software development tools and practices • Active TS/SCI required to start this position Desired Skills: • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C++, C#, or MATLAB • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn • Experience with RF, SAR or EO image processing algorithms/techniques • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment #LMSpaceAI Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,900 – $193,300. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
