ATCC, a pioneer in biomaterials manufacturing, is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for a hybrid role (2 days onsite, 3 days remote) based in Manassas, VA. We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer who will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's assets. This role is responsible for managing incidents, threat hunting, and creating automations to enhance our security posture using cutting-edge tools like Microsoft Sentinel, Rapid 7, and Azure Security Services. The Cybersecurity Engineer role will involve fortifying systems, safeguarding data, and educating our team on cyber safety.Responsibilities: Vulnerability Management: Utilize Rapid 7 for comprehensive vulnerability management, ensuring our systems are fortified against potential threats.Threat and Incident Management: Expertly manage security incidents and conduct proactive threat hunting with Microsoft Sentinel, leveraging your proficiency in Kusto Query Language.Design and implement automations using Azure Logic Apps to streamline security processes and response actions.Education and Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve our security infrastructure.
