Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract job with a client in Pleasanton, CA(Hybrid). The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure IaaS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with responsibilities including workload migration, Linux scripting automation, and implementing security best practices. Rate Range: $41/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. System Administrator job responsibilities include: • Managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure and Linux environments. • Automating tasks and processes using scripting languages (Shell, Python, Perl). • Ensuring system security through best practices and encryption techniques. • Migrating workloads to cloud platforms like Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Desired Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in cloud computing and Linux administration. • Strong expertise in Azure IaaS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). • Hands-on experience with Linux scripting for automation (Shell, Python, Perl). • In-depth knowledge of Linux security best practices and encryption techniques. • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Terraform, and Docker.
