About the Role Our team is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Release Manager to join our fast-growing IT-project-based consulting business. We need a team member who is ready to work and eager to refine their skills in the D365 space to support the missions of our customers. We have several large projects, some established, some just getting started at the Department of Veterans Affairs and we need smart team members to help us deliver! The successful candidate will be an inquisitive problem solver with the ability to quickly analyze the needs for specific projects and implement effective solutions with minimal direction. In this fully remote role, our projects require our team members to identify challenges and offer creative solutions. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute release plans for Microsoft Dynamics 365 updates and custom enhancements. • Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure seamless deployments. • Maintain and enforce version control policies and procedures. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with new releases and updates. • Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments. • Oversee sandbox environment management, including refresh schedules and data synchronization. • Conduct post-release reviews and document lessons learned. • Ensure compliance with ITIL, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies. • Provide technical guidance and support for release-related troubleshooting. Required Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in release management or DevOps for enterprise applications. • Experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP releases. • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD best practices. • Familiarity with Power Platform, Power Automate, and cloud-based environments. • Strong understanding of change management processes and IT governance. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements. • HS diploma or GED. Desired Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in enterprise release management and deployment strategies. • Experience with Azure Services, PowerShell scripting, and API integrations. • Strong background in incident management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting. • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, and ITIL. • Experience in managing enterprise SaaS applications. • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications.
