Benefits: • Health insurance BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an API Integration Specialist. This is a full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered. As an API Integration Specialist at BVA Bear's IT Solutions you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining API connections to facilitate real-time data exchange between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Commonwealth systems. This role ensures seamless integration by leveraging Azure API Management, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 configuration tools. The specialist will play a key role in optimizing and securing API integrations to enhance system interoperability and efficiency. Business Analyst at BVA Bear's IT Solutions will play a critical role in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements to support the implementation and optimization of financial and operational processes using Agile methodology. This position ensures compliance with Commonwealth regulations, including Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and financial reporting requirements. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to map existing workflows, validate business needs, and support the transition to new systems in an iterative and flexible manner. Duties and Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain API connections for real-time data exchange between Dynamics 365 and Commonwealth systems. • Utilize Azure API Management, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 configuration tools to design and implement integrations. • Ensure secure, scalable, and high-performance API integrations by following industry best practices. • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define integration requirements and data exchange protocols. • Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous data flow and minimal downtime. • Document API architecture, integration workflows, and troubleshooting guides for future reference. • Conduct testing and validation of API integrations to ensure data accuracy and consistency. • Maintain compliance with security policies, data governance standards, and Commonwealth regulatory requirements. • Participate in Agile sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to align with development objectives. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in API development and system integrations • Proficiency in Azure API Management, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365 configuration tools. • Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML). • Experience with API security, versioning, and monitoring best practices. • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize API performance and data consistency. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for integration development and maintenance. • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with cloud-based integration solutions such as Azure Logic Apps or AWS API Gateway. • Familiarity with financial system integrations and Commonwealth data exchange protocols. • Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Practitioner) is a plus.
