Position: Mid Level SQL DBA with Snowflake experience Duration: 3-6 month CTH Location: Prefer onsite at either locations Louisville, Houston, New Hye Park (Long Island, NY) . If not located there, initially will need to be 2-3 week onsite, then Remote subject to completion of training etc • DB : Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake (prefer) • Period : 3-6 months on contract then hire based on evaluation • Technology Skill Set : • SQL Server Installation and Implementation • AG, DR, HA • PowerBI • ETL & SSIS • Experience : at least 3-5 years of experience Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mid-Level DBA with 4 5 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration and preferably Snowflake. The role involves ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability of database systems, supporting business intelligence initiatives, and collaborating on data integration efforts. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the installation, configuration, and implementation of SQL Server and support Snowflake environments. • Design and implement AG, DR, and HA solutions for enterprise-grade systems. • Collaborate with BI teams to optimize data models and support Power BI reporting infrastructure. • Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS for data integration and transformation. • Monitor database performance and implement tuning solutions. • Automate maintenance tasks and perform regular health checks. • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. • Maintain proper documentation of architecture, configurations, and procedures. Required Skills: • 3-5 years of professional experience with Microsoft SQL Server. • Experience with Snowflake preferred. • Strong expertise in implementing and managing AlwaysOn AG, DR, and HA strategies. • Proficient in T-SQL, SSIS, and performance tuning. • Familiarity with Power BI data sourcing and dashboard support. • Experience with automation scripts (PowerShell or T-SQL based) is a plus. • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
