Overview CTG is seeking to fill an Application Architect Hybrid Cloud Manage opening for our client in Orlando, FL. Location: Orlando, FL Duration: 9 months Pay: Based on Experience Duties: • Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions to support enterprise applications and business needs. • Lead technical strategy and architectural decisions for cloud migration, transformation, and management. • Provide expertise in Travel & Transportation (T&T) applications, forecasting models, and travel booking/reservation systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions. • Evaluate existing applications and recommend modernization strategies leveraging cloud capabilities. • Ensure compliance with security standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements. • Support and guide development teams in cloud-native application design and deployment. • Monitor and optimize application performance, availability, and cost-efficiency within a hybrid cloud environment. Skills: • Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud). • Expertise in Travel & Transportation (T&T) applications, including booking/reservation systems and forecasting. • Experience with cloud migration, transformation, and modernization strategies. • Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing. • Knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns. • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices. • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills. Experience: • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in application architecture, cloud computing, or related fields. • Prior experience working with travel industry applications, forecasting systems, and high-availability architectures. • Hands-on experience in hybrid cloud environments and cloud-native development. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, TOGAF, etc.) are a plus.
