Location: On site in Charlotte, NC or Raleigh, NC. Summary: We’re seeking a highly motivated and data-savvy Digital Data & Analytics Lead to drive the next phase of maturity in our digital analytics capabilities. This role is pivotal to helping our product and digital leadership teams make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions. You will serve as the connective tissue between raw data and strategic insights, delivering scalable reporting, actionable dashboards, and forward-looking analyses. As a key member of the Digital Strategy and Analytics team, you’ll be responsible for empowering product teams with the tools and data they need to understand the performance, adoption, and engagement of digital products. Beyond dashboarding and reporting, you’ll shape the vision and strategy for a more proactive and insights-driven digital organization. Key Responsibilities: Tactical / Operational: • Partner with digital leadership, digital product owners, and business partners to design and build automated dashboards that monitor product health, adoption, and performance. • Deliver accurate, timely, and flexible ad hoc reports to support decision-making across product, design, engineering, and executive leadership. • Act as the internal subject matter expert on our digital data sets—owning how they are captured, stored, and interpreted. Strategic / Transformational: • Develop and execute a roadmap to evolve our digital analytics capabilities from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive insights. • Identify and fill data gaps that hinder business insight or execution; champion data literacy across the digital team. • Collaborate with data engineering and enterprise analytics teams to improve data infrastructure and drive alignment on KPIs. • Recommend and implement tools, technologies, and practices that enable scalable and self-service analytics. • Design and evolve the architecture for digital data reporting. This will include defining front-end dashboard requirements and display logic while mapping to back-end data sources and systems of records, ensuring solutions are scalable and compatible with both the current digital platform and the future-state mobile app architecture. • Think strategically about data needs. Go beyond pulling reports by identifying the right questions to ask, determining what data should be extracted, and transforming raw data into clear, compelling insights tailored to a range of audiences from product teams to executive leadership. Qualifications: Required: • 5–8+ years of experience in digital analytics, data science, or business intelligence, preferably in financial services, fintech, or a digital-first environment. • Strong proficiency in SQL and data querying for large datasets. Experience with Python and Alteryx is a plus. • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI. • Familiarity with Oracle, Azure, MS SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, and Salesforce APIs • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa. • Demonstrated experience building dashboards and data models to support digital product performance tracking. • Strong communication skills, especially in presenting complex data to non-technical audiences. Preferred: • Familiarity with digital banking products and user experience KPIs. • Experience working in agile product development teams or embedded analytics roles. • Exposure to cloud-based and on-premises data platforms • Experience with experimentation/AB testing frameworks and/or customer journey analytics. What Success Looks Like: • Every product team has a clear, reliable dashboard with key performance metrics. • Ad hoc reporting becomes faster and easier, freeing up time for deeper analysis. • Insights from your work help shape product priorities, customer journeys, and investment decisions. • The digital org shifts from reactive to insight-led planning.
