To Apply for this Job Click Here We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our team and support healthcare data initiatives with a focus on PHI compliance, data mapping, and workflow automation. This individual will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to analyze, map, and support the movement and transformation of data across systems using Microsoft applications such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, PowerAutomate, and other cloud services. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, particularly around healthcare data workflows, patient information, and compliance requirements. • Understand and handle Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA and internal policies. • Perform data mapping between EMR systems, data lakes, and reporting platforms to ensure accurate and complete data flow. • Support data ingestion and validation activities using tools such as Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform (Power BI, PowerAutomate). • Assist in documenting current and future state workflows, data dictionaries, and transformation logic. • Participate in requirements gathering sessions, helping to translate business needs into technical deliverables. • Use PowerAutomate and low-code tools to prototype or support simple workflow automations and integrations. • Coordinate with data engineers, analysts, and QA teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems. • Monitor and track data movement issues, escalating anomalies to the appropriate teams. Required Qualifications • 1–3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role in healthcare or life sciences. • Working knowledge of PHI, HIPAA, and other privacy/compliance frameworks. • Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, CCD) or EMR systems is a plus. • Familiarity with data mapping, especially in healthcare data integration scenarios. • Hands-on experience or strong understanding of Microsoft applications such as: • Microsoft Fabric (or Power BI Dataflows, Data Factory) • Power BI • PowerAutomate • Excel / SharePoint / Teams (for collaboration and data workflows) • Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with the ability to track and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Nice to Have • Experience with data lake or cloud-based analytics platforms (Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) • Exposure to SQL, DAX, or Power Query (M). • Experience working with healthcare analytics teams or population health initiatives. • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
