One Federal Solution is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Analyst/Registrar to support our Federal Government client in Washington, DC. The successful candidate will join the badging department, assisting with personnel security processes and documentation related to Federal Personnel Identity Verification (PIV) cards. This role involves a range of duties, including background checks, data entry, document management, and customer service support. Analyst/Registrar Tasks And Duties • Review, analyze, and process all incoming background investigation and credentialing related information for GSA employees and contractors and will review for accuracy, and investigation type appropriateness according to training, standard operating procedures, and regulatory guidance (both national and regional). • Conduct data entry of all background investigation related forms, paperwork, emails, into appropriate systems. • Contractor Background investigation case follow-up. Conduct follow ups on all pending cases to include coordination and communication with the applicants, GSA point of contacts, and GSA Vendors. • Receive and process all incoming phone calls, emails, and mail in order to process background investigation paperwork, answer background investigation questions, and be able to provide customers (both internal and external) with information needed. • Conduct analysis and reports for contract background investigation. This analysis and reports may be the following, but not limited to: number of background investigations, background investigation case load, types of background investigations, and OPM and DCSA service tracking. • Must be a proficient technical user to GSA system. All background investigation and credentialing data will be entered into this system, but not limited to this system, in addition to reports. • Identify individuals through the contract background investigation process that will be eligible for the sponsoring into the HSPD-12 credentialing system. • Serve as HSPD-12 Enrollment Station Registrar, Activation Registrar, Card Inventory Tool. This entails enrolling GSA and other agencies' FTE and contractors into the HSPD-12 credentialing system, taking biometrics, capturing photos, and personal information. Will conduct credential activations, updates, and re-setting of PINs all in accordance with supplied training, guidance, and standard operating procedures provided. • Assist in the monitoring of databases and background investigation checks of all government personnel requiring physical access to GSA controlled space. • Routine Reviews. Will create, analyze, and provide reports of investigation cases including, but not limited to: terminated cases, re-investigation cases, access control, number of cases, and ensuring quarterly reviews are conducting by each contract and work with the GSA contracting officers to ensure contractors adhering to all credentialing and clearance guidelines. • Customer Service. Will serve as a representative to both internal and external customers and will provide timely, accurately, and in accordance with GSA communication protocol. • Coordinating with GSA personnel for sponsoring and status of GSA personnel. • Coordinating with GSA personnel on credentialing management. It is an ONSITE position for all five days. Analyst/Registrar Requirements And Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Access, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to assist and advise personnel regarding security matters. Preferred Qualifications Experience with security clearance procedures and background checks is a plus.
